GB&U: Hazardous Conditions

GOOD: Today is the MLB First Year Player Draft, starting at 2:30 pm. The Nats have the #9 pick. NFA has all the info you might need. The Tampa Bay Rays have already annouced they will pick Georgia H.S. shrotstop Tim Beckham with the first pick. My pick: Look for the Nats to select one of the two top first base prospects (Justin Smoak or Pedro Alvarez) if either are available with the #9.

BAD: Rain out last night, after a 2:45 delay. Yuck. Here are some pics of the rain, etc.

UGLY: From Nats Journal, Tyler Clippard has no idea why he was lifted from his start Tuesday night. Hmm, you would think that if a guy was gonna get called up to start on Sunday they would tell him? Not in this organization, where controlling the story and holding their fans hostage for almost three hours for a game they KNEW AT 6:00 pm WASN'T GOING TO BE PLAYED is only status quo.

NEXT GAME(S): Today at 1:10 pm and 7:10 pm. If you had tickets for last night's game, you can use them today at 1:10 pm or for a game inthe future, subject to availability.
